Stories, ingredients, and rituals behind the radiance.

What is tallow?

Tallow is rendered fat from grass-fed cattle—an ancestral ingredient used for centuries to soothe, soften, and protect the skin. It’s rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and its fatty acid profile closely resembles our skin’s own.

Unlike synthetic moisturizers or plant oils alone, tallow supports the skin’s natural barrier—sealing in moisture, calming inflammation, and restoring balance without heaviness. At Suet & Co., we blend grass-fed tallow with carefully chosen botanical oils to create skincare that’s both elemental and elevated.

This is where the ritual begins.

The Ingredients Behind the Ritual

Every jar begins with tallow — rich, restorative, and deeply grounding — then is refined with a few select oils that bring lightness, balance, and radiance.

Each ingredient serves a purpose. Nothing extra, nothing synthetic.

Olive Squalane

A weightless oil that mirrors the skin’s natural sebum, sealing in softness without heaviness. Sourced from olives, it glides in effortlessly, leaving only calm, hydrated skin behind.

Jojoba Oil

Golden and balancing, jojoba keeps the skin’s rhythm steady. It nourishes without clogging pores — a quiet support for clear, calm complexion.

Rosehip Oil

A sunlit oil, rich in vitamins A and C. It renews, brightens, and lends a gentle glow.

Vitamin E

A natural antioxidant that guards the skin’s barrier and lends each batch its longevity. Protective, restorative, and essential.

Together, these oils harmonize with tallow — grounding richness meeting featherlight hydration — to create skincare that feels both elemental and elevated.
